Black Star 7

Luna woke up alone, as always, and stretched on the bed. She then blinked away her sleep as she climbed off the bed, padding directly to the bathroom to take a shower.

Afterward, she spent more than half an hour in front of the closet humming songs, thinking about what to wear to her date with Vin. After what seemed an eternity, Luna picked up a pair of jeans, a turquoise top and tennis shoes.

She looked at herself in the mirror and rolled her eyes. She really couldn’t believe that after all that time looking that she finally was wearing such a simple outfit. Luna shook her head. That bad habit was starting to unnerve even her. Her hair was in a ponytail and she wasn’t wearing a bra. When she finished she gave herself the once over, grinning.

Come whenever you want, Valentino, Luna mocked as she winked at her reflection, laughing softly.

Ten minutes to one, Luna came down to the lobby of the hotel and looked for Valentino. After a moment she spotted him. He was sitting reading a magazine. Luna took a deep breath and headed to him. Val smiled as he stood.

“Valentino Morales, Val para los amigos.” He said in Spanish as he extended his hand to shake hers. Almost immediately, Luna found herself loving him just because he could speak her language.

“Luna, Luna para los amigos.” She said as she shook his warm hand.

Val laughed hard at that. “Ready to go?” He asked her, giving her the once over. Before Luna could say nothing in return, he added. “Come on them, after you, Luna.” He said as he extended his arm, showing her the way.

They went directly to a parking lot in front of the hotel located at the other side of the street. Luna’s eyes widened as soon as she realized that Valentino was heading directly to a black Mercedes SL600 roadster. She grinned wickedly.

“Is it yours?” She asked as she tried her best to not slobber openly in front of him.

“Why?” Val asked narrowing his eyes.

“Just in case you let me drive it.” She answered, looking at him with an innocent expression on her face.

“No. It’s not mine. If you want to drive it you have to talk with Vin.” Val grinned. “It’s his car.” He added as he opened the passenger door for Luna.

“Yeah, hell. Why am I not surprised?” Luna muttered frowning, trying to hide her disappointment.

She really would have loved to drive it. She got in the car and fastened her seatbelt. Sure, baby, I’ll talk with him. She added silently.

They drove directly to Vin Diesel’s house. During the ride they talked about nothing in particular and everything.

Val was interested to get as much information as possible about her. Such as where she came from, what her job was, if she was married, kids… On the other hand, Luna was more interested about why the hell she was sitting in a car with a man twice her own weight, heading to the house of a guy that for all she knew could be a serial killer to have lunch with him.

Way to go, Luna. She scolded silently. This can turn into a nightmare in seconds, sugar... Her voice added.

Luna shook her head and tried to get rid of that kind of idea. She could feel that with every second that passed that strange sensation was growing in her stomach and even she didn’t know why.

Valentino glanced at her from the corner of his eye narrowly. It seemed as if all of sudden she was really uneasy.

“Are you ok, Luna?” He asked, concerned. Luna heaved a deep sigh.

“Yeah, yeah. I’m ok, Val.” She replied, as she got comfortable in her seat, taking a deep breath. In response, Val narrowed his eyes even more, but kept silent.

Luna then looked around. They had left the centre of town half an hour ago and now they were in a residential area.

“Where are we?” She asked, a little nervous.

“This part is called San Jorge.” Val answered as he took an exit and started to drive along a secondary road on the right side of the main road.

He turned to the left side and drove ahead for a few meters, then took the street on his right side and drove ahead until they found a dead end street. Val stopped the car in front of a big green iron gate and pushed a button on a remote control causing the door to open slowly.

“Last stop.” He said as the car entered the gates.

“Great.” Luna said hoping to sound as neutral as possible.

Suddenly and without warning her heart started to race and immediately the sensation grew inside her stomach. Shit, not again, please. Give me a break, God. I’ll behave myself. I promise. I’ll be a good girl, please, she sighed.

Vin Diesel’s home wasn’t as big as Luna had expected. Quite the opposite. It was a two level house, with a lot of beautiful windows and a big terrace on the first floor right in middle of the facade.

For a long moment Luna stared at the house, fixing all the details, studying the beauty of the construction in front of her and she couldn’t help but grin at its perfection.

Luna, you’re not here to work, sugar. You’re on holidays, remember? Her own voice scolded her.

Then she looked around and saw big trees and the garden. Luna was speechless and her face reflected all the things she was feeling at that very moment.

“It’s amazing, isn’t it? Vin just moved here a couple of months ago.” Val explained to her while he looked at her face. Luna just nodded ‘yes’, a little overwhelmed. The house was breathtaking. For a moment she had forgotten even how to speak, let alone in another language.

After a few minutes, Val turned and headed to the main door. Luna followed him. When they entered the house, she heard a dog barking.

The hall was huge and on the right side there was a set of marble stairs. Suddenly she could hear the dog barking closer, Luna turned on her heels and then she saw both of them. The dog and its master.

“Shut up, Roman.” Vin said grinning. He still couldn’t believe that Luna was here after how they had met. Luna gave him the once over, grinning.

Vin had pants and a cotton tee-shirt in a deep blue colour. She looked at him and smiled. Tight T-shirt, she thought.

Luna then looked down at Roman and her smile faltered a little. The dog seemed to be an Italian Mastiff. Vin was holding its collar and Roman was barking louder, yanking almost wildly.

“I said shut up, Roman.” Vin said softly and Roman went silent. “You’re not afraid of Roman, aren’t you?” Vin teased her in his deep voice and chuckled at his own words.

Luna knit a brow when both men started to laugh. If it was some kind of joke, she wasn’t catching the meaning at all. After a moment Vin smirked.

“If you’re afraid, Roman can smell it.” He added, staring at her eyes.

“How is Roman with strangers?” Luna asked as she stared at the big dog, trying to hide her fear.

“Let’s find out.” Vin answered seriously. “Hold your hands down beside your legs and relax.” He said and with that he released the dog.

In two seconds Roman ran to Luna’s side and sniffed the air around her. Then his nose explored her as Vin looked at Roman with an astonished expression on his face. After a few seconds more Roman sat and licked her hand. Luna swallowed hard as cleared her throat, looking down at her hand.

“I think I’ve passed the test.” She said, almost in a whisper as she looked up at Vin, who nodded, grinning. Then Luna looked to her hands. “I need to wash them.” She chuckled and slowly she patted Roma’s back, rubbing it.

“Yeah, I guess so. Be glad it’s just your hand. I end up with my face full of slobber all the time.” Vin smiled. “At the end of the corridor, last door on the right.” He added as he looked at her. Luna then turned on her heels and headed to the bath.

As she walked she swung her hips and Vin’s gaze went directly to her tight bottom inside of her jeans and he couldn’t help but a deep sigh escaped his lips.

Luna noticed and grinned while she continued walking. Yes! She said to herself.

Vin shook his head to get rid of the visions that popped in his mind at once. “How about a drink?” He asked her, raising his voice to be heard. I know exactly what I want right now, sweetheart. He added silently.

“Have you got diet coke?” Luna called from the bathroom, still grinning.

“I guess so.” Vin retorted, glancing at Val who was staring at him. “What?” Vin asked in a murmur. Valentino just grinned. “Now, what, brother?” He repeated, mimicking Val’s grin.

“She means trouble, bro.” Val said still grinning as he turned on his heels and went to the door. “See you.” He added, disappearing.

Vin just shook his head in time to see Luna heading back to the kitchen. As soon as he saw her, his heart started to race. You, stupid, control yourself. He scolded himself silently.

“If you don’t have it. No problem.” Luna said as she entered the kitchen. “Just not coffee, please and I don’t drink alcohol.” She added, taking a seat on one of the tall stools.

“No coffee. No alcohol. Got it. Do you eat?” Vin teased her. Luna pretended to not notice the ironic tone on his deep voice.

“Always. When I’m hungry and I’m insatiable.” Luna retorted, grinning. “Diet coke is good for me; water would be fine as well.” She added looking for Valentino who wasn’t around. Are we alone? She asked herself. “Where’s Val?”

“Val is gone. He had things to do.” Vin said as he emerged from behind the fridge with a diet coke and a Corona. Now the two of us, babe. “Ice?” He asked, handing her the can along with a glass.

“No, thanks.” Luna said as he opened the can, taking a sip. “Vin? May I ask you something?” Vin nodded, sipping from his Corona. She cleared her throat. “Do you always send Val to pick up girls instead of doing it yourself or was it the first time?” Luna asked, grinning.

As if you didn’t know the answer, Luna. Her voice added.

“Would you believe me if I’d told you that it’s the first time?” Vin replied as he knit a brow, locking eyes with her.

“No.” Luna retorted seriously.

Your first time was long ago, Vincent, she smiled.

“That’s what I thought,” he replied, chuckling.

And you couldn’t imagine the things I’ve been thinking about you though, he returned the smile.

“It seems to me you two have the perfect method.” Luna added, frowning a little as she started to chew on her lower lip.

Chewing your lips again, Luna? He asked silently as he turned on his heels and headed outside.

“You think you know me really well, don’t you?” Vin asked, his voice sounded strange as if her words had hurt him.

Give me a break, baby. I’m not that bad. He then looked at her lips.

Luna stood and followed him outside. “No offence. Just call it gut instinct; it’s easy for me to figure out what people really want or their real wishes. That’s all, Vin.” Luna explained him.

Did I hurt him? She asked herself.

There was a spacious terrace and in front of it you could see a big garden with the swimming pool and a basketball court. When she emerged from behind him she found Vin sitting in one of the big wicker armchairs with large white cushions.

“No offence here.” Vin said as he pointed to a seat right next to him. “And what is your gut instinct is telling you now about me, Luna?” He asked frowning slightly.

Luna narrowed her eyes. “Too soon. Give me a couple of more hours.” She mocked as she took a seat in front of him, ignoring the free place next to him.

We are just going to stay two hours? Her own voice asked her.

“Just a couple of hours, huh?” Vin grinned, but he was disappointed because she had sat in front of him and not at his side.

“I love wicker armchairs. I’ve got similar ones at home.” Luna said, trying to change the subject, rubbing the arms of the armchair softly. Then she took a sip from the coke.

“Where’s your home?” Vin asked as he almost choked on his beer when Luna stretched her back.

No bra? He arched his brows. Oh, shit, that’s unfair. Luna you’re a naughty girl, he though, grinning devilishly.

“Spain. I’m a Spaniard, here on holidays. Stress and all that shit, you know?” Luna answered as she grinned when she realized that he was staring at her breasts.

Bingo! You thought I was wearing a bra.

Then she turned her face and looked at the garden. He swallowed and cleared his throat.

“If you want to talk about stress I could tell you something about that. Not that I can complain, but sometimes I’d like to go out just like everybody else to have lunch or something. Have a normal life.” Vin explained as Luna looked at him, frowning. “That’s the reason why I asked Val to bring you here. It’s not the first time I’ve had a date and when I show up two or three paparazzi are waiting for me. No offence.” He added serious.

“No offence here.” Luna replied sweetly.

I’m interested about you, not your job. You haven’t looked at yourself in the mirror lately, have you? Her voice again.

“If you think I’m like any other woman you’ve met, then you’re completely wrong, Vin. I’m not interested in becoming famous and I already have money. So…” Her voice had sounded colder that she would have liked.

“If I had thought that, you wouldn’t be where you are sitting right now, babydoll. You can be sure of that.” Vin retorted in the same tone, frowning.

He wasn’t used to dealing with women like Luna. Most of the chicks that had passed through his hands were interested in Vin Diesel, the famous actor, not in Vin, the man.

A deadly silence lay upon them and for a long moment neither of them spoke a word.

Luna started to bite her bottom lip and she could no longer be in silence.

“This is a quite place. No noise at all. It’s similar to the place where I grew up.” Luna broke the silence as she stood, walking to the garden.

Perfectly suitable to scream out, sugar. Do you think his neighbours will hear you screaming, Luna?

“Would you like to see the house?” Vin asked her as he got to his feet.

This is gonna be harder than I thought at the beginning. He added silently.

Luna nodded, took a long sip from the coke and went to his side as they headed back to the house.

Vin stopped in his tracks at the doorframe and let her pass first. Luna smiled as she entered and Vin gave her the once over again. He was secretly enjoying the sweet swing of her hips inside her tight jeans.

Vin gave her the tour around the house and Luna noticed that almost all the bedrooms were lacking in furniture. In fact it was almost Spartan and the executive within Luna started to fight to be released.

“If you wanted, I could display my imagination to get the maximum utility in all your rooms. You should know that I’m an expert.” Luna teased him.

Display your imagination, huh, sugar? Her voice told her.

“I bet that we’d share our opinions about displaying our imagination.” Vin retorted, grinning.

I’m not sure if I could wait to see that, Luna, he thought silently.

The last room he showed her it was in front of the salon. Inside there was a billiard table, huge plasma screen floating on a wall and a concert quality sound system. In the corner there was a bar as well as several couches all over.

Luna looked around and smiled, after a short moment she turned and stared at him with a grin on her face.

“Amazing equipment you’ve got there, Vin.” She taunted innocently.

And I’m not thinking about your TV, she thought as she pointed to the plasma screen, grinning.

“Only the best.” Vin replied and he couldn’t help it but he sounded like a cocky bastard. He cursed himself silently. At this point he should have known that Luna wasn’t impressed at all with his house or his expensive shit.

Here and there big posters and pictures of his movies were hanging on the walls. Luna looked at them and noticed that in all of the posters his picture along with his name was written.

“So… These are all your movies, Vin?” Luna asked still looking at them.

I know exactly what kind of movie we could shoot, she told to herself and turned to look at him.

“Yeah, some of them.” Vin answered, licking his lips.

I’ll shoot one with you but it’d up end being rated X, he added silently, grinning.

Luna was still walking, looking at the pictures as if she was at the museum.

“I think I haven’t seen any of them, sorry.” Luna apologized.

If I had seen any I wouldn’t have forgotten that body, she said to herself.

Suddenly one of them caught her attention above the rest. Her eyes widened as an uncontrolled shudder crossed her spine.

Who is this guy? She asked herself, narrowing her eyes.

Vin noticed and went to see what had caused such effect in her, even though he suspected what it had been or better to say who it had been.

Right in front of her face there was a picture of Riddick with his shined eyes staring at her with a menacing, cold gaze. Luna found herself unable to look away from the picture, enthralled and bewitched by those mercurial eyes.

“Pitch Black. It was very interesting to play Riddick.” Vin explained to her.

He was so close that she could notice his hot breath against her neck. She swallowed hard and tensed slightly.

So you like Riddick, huh? How interesting, he told himself when an idea crossed his mind.

Without thinking twice, Vin took a deep breath and cleared his throat.

“Richard B. Riddick, escaped convict, murderer.” He said completely absorbed by his character as he grinned.

“Riddick…” Luna breathed as a strong shiver ran up her spine. She turned her head and looked at Vin.

I wonder how much of him lives inside of you, Vin, she said, narrowing her eyes.

For a long moment they were looking at each other and both of them could feel the tension rising with every second that passed.

“Hungry?” Vin asked breaking the tense silence between them.

You look good enough to eat though, he mocked to himself as he turned to go to the kitchen.

“Yeah. What are we having to eat?” Luna asked him, glancing one last time at Riddick’s picture, feeling her heart skipping a beat. She then shook her head and followed him to the kitchen.

Are you part of the menu? She grinned.

“Pasta.” He said as he saw how Roman walked in front of him and headed directly to Luna’s side, ignoring him.

Traitor. Vin replied, narrowing his eyes.

“Hi, boy. Want to see me again?” Luna asked Roman as she crouched in front of the dog, rubbing behind its ears.

Vin’s eyes almost popped out of his face. Who was this pussy and where was his dangerous dog? He wondered, puzzled.

“Come here, Roman!” Vin called him as he patted his thigh. Roman ignored him. The dog was enjoying Luna’s caresses too much. “Hey, big boy, come to papa!” Vin repeated raising his voice. Roman ran to him and Vin stroke him, patting its back. “You want to eat, don’t you?” He asked him as he continued stroking his pet. Luna laughed when she saw him playing with Roman as if the big dog was a little kid. “She’s hot, huh?” Vin murmured to his dog. In response, Roman barked. “Too bad for you, I saw her first, pal.” He whispered, winking.

Luna narrowed her eyes. She heard him murmuring something to the dog, but she couldn’t catch a word.

“It seems to me that I like him. Do you think that pets reflect their masters’ feelings?” Luna teased him as she went to the kitchen, passing them on her way.

Vin knit a brow as he tilted his head to one side, mimicking Roman’s gesture.

“You’re the first one. Roman never let anybody be next to him, ever, with the exception of Val and myself.” He said, ignoring the double meaning of her words.

Why am I not surprised? He thought.

When Vin reached the kitchen, Luna was washing her hands in the sink, so he did the same. Then, he opened the oven and pulled out their meal. Luna watched him in complete silence, fixing every detail of his movements. Vin started to set plates and things on the table.

“Let me help you. Where are the glasses?” Luna asked him, waiting for him to tell her where to find them.

“No way, babydoll. You are my guest.” Vin replied. I don’t want you hovering around me. “Just sit down here and wait, ok?” He added, sighing.

I can’t concentrate with you around me, woman, he told silently. What the fuck were you thinking, Diesel? Who told you to bring her here, man? Vin scolded himself, shaking his head.
