Title: NEAPOLITAN

Pairing: Riddick/Ava Black

Fandom: PB

Rating: big surprise, an NC17 story, for sex, and violence, warning for blood play

Disclaimer:shamelessly pirated Riddick, Ava, well, she’s mine, alllll mine, right down to her dark little heart, the song Neapolitan is by Canadian band Sonic Bloom, and I hope they don’t sue my ass off, but I loved it from the first moment I heard it. Hope that’s enough sucking up, because I’m not really any good at it.

summary: more tales of our demented unlikely couple, the strangest damned love story you’ll ever read…..

note:As with other Riddick/Ava pairings, for conversations/interactions between Riddick and Ava, italics are Riddick conversations/thoughts.

When the waitress walked by she must have
Caught his eye and at that moment he was mine
A little slight of hand
And I had poisoned his bowl of neopolitan
What else can I say, man
Enjoy your ice cream
Murder is such an ugly word
Use another if you so prefer
Me, I like to call it art
Art is its own reward

“Ava…”

My back nestled into your chest, your hands on my hips. We sat like this once before, while you had me land. I was a little more frightened then. To be honest, I was terrified. I’m still a little afraid, but I’m working on it. You had me pilot out of the docking bay of the Midorian. I don’t feel safe enough doing it myself yet. A course set, a quiet route.

Vaughn is halfway down the hallway already, barely even looking at the broken heap of Davis, his neck broken, as Riddick and his girl slip into the service tunnels. It’s about a quarter mile, in the dim half light of those tunnels, before they break out into the landing, and, most likely, their ship. If they make it out safely, Vaughn will kill both Petrie and me. Hell, he might kill us anyway, if he gets the chance. It’s just a matter of who kills who first, as we enter the gloom of the tunnels.

I hate feeling rushed. Gotten to like the idea of spending a couple of days with you here. Nothing wrong with the ship, but even though I know you’re growing more comfortable with the idea of flying, I know it’s not really your element. We both felt we were being watched, over dinner, brought it up. I almost didn’t want to say anything at all, about the surveillance. No direct threat, so far, and, to be honest,I just didn’t want to leave yet.

::FIVE::

The hulk of the Midorian rises before us. Petrie has no problem docking, the resort was built at a time when the notion of a small ship was unheard of. We have no way of knowing what dock they’re using. Petrie will stay here, with the ship, for now. He doesn’t complain. I have the feeling you could kick Petrie in the head and he wouldn’t complain much.
