Black Star 26

Luna jumped slightly on the bed when she heard Vin slamming the door. In two seconds she climbed off the bed and stood in a defensive position, staring at him.

She lifted her head defiantly and closed her hands in fists, but her vision was slightly blurred with unshed tears. When Luna looked at him she felt her heart stop dead for a second.

Vin was staring at her with a painful expression on his face. He heaved a hard sigh and padded to the bed. Luna went motionless, her eyes fixed on him.

“I’m sorry, Luna. I didn’t mean the things I said.” Vin admitted as he looked around.

There was no sign of Luna’s luggage and he sighed, relieved. Vin then cleared his throat and continued.

“I… I didn’t like it one damn bit to see you flirting with him and biting your lips.” He added and locked eyes with her, frowning slightly. “I love when you do that, though. Now I know it’s because you’re nervous. And…and I like to think that I’m the only one who can make you feel nervous at all.” His voice sounded serious, but gently.

“I wasn’t flirting with him, Mark.” Luna said softly as she cleared her throat. “I don’t know how to do that though.” She chuckled at her words and moved forward just a step. Vin chuckled slightly as he took a step ahead. “I felt like shit seeing you with all those women…” Luna admitted almost in a whisper, chewing her lower lip. She took a deep breath. “All those women… and, Mierda!… Amanda….she’s a bitch…” Luna trailed off, looking away.

She had started to feel that invisible knot closing her throat just thinking about it.

Vin went silent for a long moment, thinking about his actions.

Honestly he didn’t remember any other women apart from Luna and Amanda? For god’s sake! If anyone had to be jealous it must be Amanda for him, not Luna for her. Vin shook his head.

“Amanda is my manager and she’s a lesbian.” Vin stated as he grinned thinking about how Amanda had been asking him all kinds of questions about Luna.

Luna arched her brows amused as a slight grin graced her lips. Vin smiled slightly and took another step in her direction.

“And, honestly I don’t remember any blonde with fake tits, Luna. I only had eyes for you and them…” Vin trailed off, frowning deeply.

He was doing his best trying not to think about the damned Brad Pitt and Valentino dancing with Luna.

Luna gasped and swallowed hard. “Them?” She asked, puzzled.

Vin took a deep breath and elaborated.

“I saw you dancing with Valentino and, damnit! You both looked great and then, you were acting as if you were really interested in Pitt. I saw how he gave you a piece of paper and I’m sure that the motherfucker wrote his phone number.” Vin said and he couldn’t help but his voice sounded hard even though he didn’t want it to.

Luna’s eyes widened. She then went to the closet and pulled out her pale green purse. She opened and searched inside of it for something. Vin watched her in complete silence.

“You mean this paper?” Luna asked as she extended her hand to him. Vin took the napkin and read silently.

M, we will live our passionate love only in our dreams. Thanks for being my number one fan. Call me when you come to LA. I’ll be waiting.

At the bottom, Brad Pitt had written his phone number, the date and he had signed it.

Vin chuckled silently. He knew it and he was sure that the last two lines hadn’t been written for that M at all. Vin closed his eyes and cursed himself silently.

Luna grinned as she crossed her arms over her chest.

In fact, Brad Pitt had added his phone number, hoping that Luna would call him. Of course she wasn’t going to call him at all.

She then went to the bed and took a seat. Vin looked at her through narrowed eyes. “Who’s M?” He asked softly as he took a seat at her side; the napkin still in his hands.

Luna smiled and glance at him from the corner of her eye. “She’s my best friend.” Luna answered as she got to her feet. “This is my gift for her.” She added, extending her hand.

Vin gave the napkin back to her and sighed hard. Luna turned on her heels and put the napkin inside of the purse. She then turned around and faced him.

“Brad Pitt is her favourite actor. I thought it would be a great surprise for her. I didn’t know that it would cost me so much.” Luna admitted sincerely as a deep sigh escaped her lips.
Vin stood and went to her side. He stopped a few inches from her and after a moment of hesitation, he grabbed her waist and pulled her to him. Vin bent his head and pressed his forehead to hers.

“You said Brad Pitt was the best actor.” Vin murmured as he frowned deeply at the tone of his voice.

Luna rolled her eyes. “That’s not true. I said that M thinks he’s the best actor.” Luna retorted as she hesitantly rested her hands on his arms, stroking them up and down gently. “I don’t agree with her at all. He’s funny and nice, but that’s all.” Luna added and tilted her head back to look at him.

“What about me?” Vin asked as he locked eyes with her. “Am I your favourite actor?” He asked as his eyes flickered to hers. Luna shook her head ‘no’ slowly.

“No.” Luna replied seriously. “You are Mark.”

And it was true. Luna had never seen him as the famous actor Vin Diesel, ever. She had met an intelligent, funny, sexy and hot man a few days before and she couldn’t see him like everybody else. Luna had never seen Vin Diesel until last night.

She smiled broadly as soon as she saw him frowning puzzled. Luna elaborated. “I love that actor…what’s his name? Damn, I can’t remember it right now…” Luna pretended to be thinking hard, trying to remember something.

Vin went serious as he arched a brow. In response, Luna laughed, encircling his neck.

“Ah, yes! Now I remember his name. Maybe you could phone him and tell him that Luna is his number one fan.” Luna teased him pressing her body to his.

Vin chuckled at that. “Who’s the guy?” He asked narrowing his eyes in suspicion. Luna smiled broadly.

“He has a weird stage name. Something about fuel….” Luna trailed off as her hands stroke his broad back.

Vin grinned and grabbed her bottom pulling her to him, causing a moan to escape Luna’s lips.

She locked eyes with him. “Yesss….now I remember his name. Diesel, Vin Diesel. Yeah! He’s my favourite actor.” Luna said and put as much reassurance as she could in her words.

Vin noticed and grinned, rubbing his body to hers. Luna laughed softly and tip toed on her feet, brushing her lips with his.

“Vin Diesel, huh?” He chuckled and captured her lips as if he was starved.

He picked up Luna in his arms and headed toward the bed. Luna moaned against his lips and Vin let out a deep growl.

When they came back down, there was no sign of Carmela and Dolores. They ate something and later headed directly to the salon. Luna stared at the pool table, grinning and Vin noticed.

“You play?” He asked her, smiling broadly and Luna laughed hard.

“I told you, dork. You have no idea about who you’re dealing with, Mark.” She retorted, winking at him. “Playing billiards is the third thing that I do more than just fine though.” Luna added as she traced the edge of the table with her fingertips.

Vin knit a brow, chuckling.

“The third one? Hmmm…. I know exactly what the first one is.” He purred, thinking about how they were a perfect match for each other when they were fucking like nobody’s business. Luna smiled an evil smile. “I wonder about the second one.” Vin teased as he tilted his head to one side, licking his lips.

Luna laughed. “With a bit of luck, you will discover it soon, babe.” Luna purred, winking. “Hey! I’ve got an idea. How about we bet something?” She asked as she picked up the triangle and laid it on the pool table.

Vin narrowed his eyes in suspicion. “Like what?” He asked, following her moves with his eyes. Luna bent over and started to set the balls inside the triangle.

“Ok, listen. How about the loser has to do whatever the winner has in mind?” Luna said as she picked up a cue.

Vin grinned evilly. He had always been more than just good at playing billiards.

“Anything?” Vin asked, narrowing his eyes. Luna glanced at him, grinning.

“Sure. Why not?” She retorted, smiling. She had always been really good at playing. Her luck didn’t have to change now, did it? “Everything. No limits at all.” Luna added as she smiled broadly. Vin chuckled at that.

“Careful, Luna. You might end up regretting those words.” Vin teased, grinning as he picked up a cue.

His voice sounded unusually deep and cold. In response Luna laughed but she couldn’t help that an uncontrolled shiver crossed her spine at the tone of his voice.

“Whatever, asshole.” Luna teased as she rubbed the edge of the cue with blue chalk.

Vin grinned an evil smile. Oh, Luna, I’ll be a bigger mouthful than you’d be able to chew, babydoll. Vin retorted silently as he circled the table.

“Interesting….” He trailed off. “Ladies first.” Vin purred, grinning and cracked his neck to both sides.

Vin had started to think about how he was planning to make Luna pay the bet when she’d lost the game. He had been making mental notes about the man who had made such a deep impression on Luna as soon as she had laid eyes on him, even though it had been just in a picture.

Vin laughed silently, he never, not even once, had used one of his characters off a set, even though many women had begged him. But he had always loved role-playing and they were both adults.

Apart from that it would be like a training session for him in order to test if he could play his most charismatic role in real life. No cameras, no lights, no script; just himself.

Vin laughed silently and gave thanks to God because Luna had seen just one of his movies, otherwise the fun would have vanished.

Oblivious to Vin’s thoughts, Luna grinned and leaned against the table. She fixed her gaze on the edge of the cue and opened the game with a powerful shot.

All the balls rolled around the table, two of hers fell into the pockets. Luna smiled broadly as she licked her lips. Oh this was going to be too much fun, Luna thought silently, winking at him. In response, Vin let out a deep growl as he narrowed his eyes, grinning an evil smile.
