Sunday
They were staring at each other eyes. The colour of Luna’s was so intense that for a second Vin wasn’t sure if she would leave him blind. The area around the irises was slightly red after the endless tears that had been shed the night before.
Vin’s chocolate brown eyes were flickering to hers as he lifted his hand and wiped a tear away from her cheek with his thumb, and leaning his head, he parted her lips with his, sliding his tongue inside her mouth, kissing her the way he knew she loved to be kissed.
Holding her gaze, Vin traced the contours of her shoulders and hips with the palm of his hand, feeling her soft hairs rising under his feather touch and a soft moan passed her lips.
Slowly, he leaned his head down to let his tongue traced the areola of her breast, teasing her. Grinning, Vin captured first one nipple, sucking, turning it into a hard peak, causing a strong shiver ran down Luna’s spine.
Vin was taking his time, he wasn’t in a hurry. A long moment later, he mimicked his previous moves on the other one. Luna moaned loudly as she arched her back, giving him more access.
She was trembling slightly as a new shiver ran down her spine, and Luna carried her hands to his head and nape, stroking him gently, pressing him even more against her skin.
Without lifted his lips from her skin, Vin made his way down to her stomach, playing with her abdominal muscles, in a similar way that Luna had been playing with his the night before, enjoying how they flexed under his hot lips.
Luna gasped and closed her eyes, silent tears rolling down her cheeks.
His fingers were playing with her pubic hair as his tongue was tracing circles along her inner thighs. Luna shut her eyes tightly and sucked on her lower lip. His fingers slid inside of her tightness, already wet and hot for him.
When Vin reached her most sensitive spot, Luna gasped loudly as she felt her heartbeat speed up. Vin was stroking her slowly, gently. Luna’s heart was pounding inside her chest when she felt her climax rising.
Vin’s fingers were thrusting into her, deeply curling them up, stimulating her g-spot. When he felt her inner muscles clasping his fingers, Vin kept the slow gentle pace, and continued stroking her while wave after wave of her orgasm was crashing down on her, making each spasm of pleasure almost painful.
She knew full well that just one man had made her feel this way and suspected that she’d never be able to enjoy sex with any other again, ever. Luna shut her eyes tightly biting her lower lip so hard it started to bleed as her tears fell free.
Vin then leaned against her and pressed his body down, settling himself in the vee of her legs. He was amazed at the heat and wetness he could feel.
He kissed her deeply and Luna moaned against his lips. This caused him to get even harder and she could feel his erection against her skin.
He pressed his lips to her ear, nibbling her earlobe, sucking it gently. Luna buried her face in his neck as her hands stroked his broad back, shoulders and arms.
Vin sat back, resting on his heels and stared down at Luna. Her eyes were sparkling with tears and he felt his heart skipping a beat.
In other circumstances and with another woman, this vision would have made him move back and ask what was going on. But Vin damn well knew the answer.
They were saying good-bye to each other. This was the last time they would share their bodies, showing their feelings concerning the other. And there was no turning back.
Luna managed a big smile, swallowing the knot in her throat. She was sure that his next action was going to be so gentle and full of tenderness that it was going to hurt like nothing before.
Vin grabbed her bottom and pulled her to him, raising her hips to rest on his thighs. Luna caught her breath as she felt his heat and hardness as he began to push inside of her slowly.
Vin continued pressing forward, just a little bit at a time, overwhelmed, and he let out a deep growl when he felt her open up to him completely. He slid into her slowly, leisurely, filling her. When he was in to the hilt, he went still for a moment.
Luna was clasping him, so tightly that it was almost painful, as if she was trying to make him part of her own body. Luna moved her hips, pressing herself even more against him, holding his gaze.
Vin knew that she had made her decision and nothing he would say or do was going to make her change her mind. Luna was going to leave him even though just thinking about that fact was killing her inside.
Vin leaned into her, letting his elbows support his weight. He pressed his lips to her ear, teasing her earlobe, nibbling gently as he drew himself almost all the way out. Luna let out a deep moan as she stroked his back, all the way down to his perfect ass.
He thrust forward deliberately keeping the pace slow. After a moment Vin established a slow, gentle rhythm, drawing himself nearly out all the way, and then thrusting back in again. Luna was panting under him, moaning softly against his neck and shoulders.
Their bodies pressed together again. They weren’t two anymore, they were just one body, broken and torn apart.
They both realized that this act itself was a good bye. Vin went completely still for a second, until he heard her whimper and felt her legs wrapping his waist. That was all the encouragement he needed.
He teased her, moving his hips in small circles as he put his arms around her, cradling Luna’s body underneath him.
Vin began to thrust into her, holding her teary gaze, watching how her eyes were sparkling more and more as the tears filled them.
He picked up the pace as he felt her inner muscles clasping him. With another thrust, her body began to tremble. A moment later, Luna was writhing and trembling with each spasm of pleasure and Vin noticed his own release rising fast and leaning down, he kissed her with everything in him.
When their lips parted, Vin let out a deep sigh and buried his face in her neck, pressing his body even tighter against her. Luna took a deep breath and forced back fresh tears. They were panting, their hearts beating in unison.
Vin raised his head and locked eyes with her. “It’s been a pleasure to meet you, Luna.” He whispered, smiling sadly, wiping away her tears.
Luna sighed hard and gently caressed his cheek. “Thank you for letting me meet you, Mark.” She said as a tiny smile graced her lips.
No more words were said. There was no need.
—————————
Luna had confirmed her ticket; her flight was departing at five that afternoon, local time.
She had booked a private vehicle to transfer her to the airport and had insisted that Vin didn’t come with her.
Luna didn’t want anybody watching them while they were saying their good byes, or asking Vin Diesel for his attention. Vin had reluctantly agreed with her, but not before he argued with Luna for almost half an hour.
They decided that they were going to keep those days within their hearts and souls, as their most precious possession and they were going to continue with their lives.
They had shared nine days together with nine nights full of passion, lust, sex and love. The both knew their feelings and knew that saying good-bye wouldn’t be easy so they didn’t talk about it.
They both knew without saying it aloud that neither of them was ready for a serious relationship at that very moment. But they also thought it would be less painful than it was and that they would be able to move on.
Vin Diesel would be in Canada for at least three months to shoot his next movie, and Luna had her life in Spain.
The firm she had created with a lot of effort and endless working hours was waiting for her. Her family was there too as well as her friends. It would have been crazy to pack all her things and move to LA after just a few days together.
They didn’t know many things about the other and neither of them was sure if it had been an intelligent decision to share those days together.
Nevertheless, they were sure about one thing. Their lives would never be the same without the other around, ever.

They sat on the stairs that led to the swimming pool. Vin took a seat on the first step with Luna on the second between his thighs. Her head rested against his shoulder, and Vin had encircled her body with his arms. Their hands together, their hearts beating in the same rhythm and they were breathing in unison.
Vin and Luna sat just exactly in the same place where they kissed each other for the first time.
Thinking back, it seemed like an eternity had passed since that very first kiss. Just a few days had been enough to create a strong connection between such different souls yet so similar.
Neither of them had crossed paths with someone before who would have been able to cause such an effect in their lives.
Just right in this very same place Luna had asked him if he had met someone before who he had thought it impossible to live without, and Vin had answered an honest “no”. But if Luna would ask that question again, his answer would have been completely different.
A long moment ago that neither of them would have been able to place, the conversation and the laughs had led to a dead silence that had descended upon them, wrapping their bodies and minds like an invisible veil of sadness and pain.
Words to describe how they were feeling at that very moment hadn’t been discovered yet
Vin and Luna had shared more than a week together and the moment that they had been ignoring and had been afraid of, had finally come.
The driver pressed the horn at the entrance of Vin Diesel’s house and they both shut their eyes tightly, sighing hard.
A deep growl escaped Vin’s lips as he released Luna and getting to his feet, he headed towards the house, to allow the vehicle to enter.
Luna’s luggage was already outside of the house at the entrance. The driver parked the car at the parking area and opened the trunk, putting Luna’s suitcases inside. After that, he left the door open for his customer and waited patiently.
In the mean time, Luna had gotten to her feet and she was looking around, fixing each and every detail of this house where she had lived during the last week.
Luna heaved a hard sigh and forced back tears. She didn’t want to cry anymore. She had been crying around him for the last twelve hours non-stop. Luna didn’t want that Vin’s last vision of her would be her red puffy eyes, crying like there was no tomorrow. So Luna took a deep breath, swallowed hard and waited for him.
Vin pulled Luna to him, encircling her body with his arms. She rested her face against his chest and closed her eyes. They were still next to the pool.
Vin looked down at her, meeting her gaze. And all of sudden he could no longer pretend he didn’t care and found himself not wanting to let her go.
“Fuck, Luna!” Vin exclaimed as his eyes flickered to hers. “Why are you doing this to us?” He asked, his voice sounded gravelly and hoarse. Luna’s eyes opened wide. Gasping, Luna moved backward, snapping her eyes open and found his sorrow flashing at her.
Luna swallowed the knot in her throat. “Mark…” She breathed weakly as she felt her throat closing painfully. Vin shut his eyes and cursed himself silently.
“You can’t leave me like this, Luna.” He muttered as his hands closed into fist. “Not like this. No way. No after all…” Vin cut himself off as soon as he saw how tears were rolling freely down her cheeks.
Luna swallowed hard and found her voice. She then moved forward.
“I…I can’t go through this.” She hissed in pain, her voice faltering. “Not now…please, please…” Luna whispered, feeling her heart breaking apart.
Vin grunted softly as he pulled her to him, hugging her tightly against his chest, hearing her sobs, her tears soaking his t-shirt. Their bodies were shaking; their souls breaking.
His rage and pain were fighting for release. Vin had thought at the beginning that it would be fun to have a chick for himself alone during a whole week. No feelings involved. No emotions at all. Just mind blowing sex.
Vin had bet himself and he had lost. And now he was realizing that over that week, and while sharing all those moments with her, Luna had changed him without being aware of that fact.
In spite of their current situation and knowing in advance that Luna was going to leave him, Vin had trusted in himself to keep her at his side, in his life.
Maybe… if he’d opened his heart to her… but he was sure that he had done just that. At least Vin was sure that he had showed her his real feelings. Now she was going to leave him and Vin wasn’t sure if he would be able to live without her.
Now, he had his last chance to keep her with him, to try and make her change her mind, to make her stay with him.
Vin suspected that he wasn’t going to be the same if this damned Spanish woman wasn’t around him, teasing him and calling him “names” at every chance. Vin was so desperate, frustrated and sad that he felt all his feelings growing at once inside of his chest, fighting for release with the fury of a hurricane.
Don’t let her go away, Vincent. His voice echoed inside of his brain. Make her stay here with you, at least for a few more weeks, his voice continued. You just need time to think about how you’re gonna deal with this shit. His own voice argued with him. You’re not ready for a serious relationship, man, he continued arguing. Aw, come on. You can find a way to make this happen, Mark. The voice sounded faintly. Tell her, Vincent. Tell her. Tell her now! His voice demanded.
Luna was sobbing silently when suddenly her voice spoke. A relationship at a distance doesn’t work, Luna, the voice said. You’re not ready for a serious relationship. Luna felt her heart started to speed its rhythm. It had been a beautiful dream, Luna, but just that, just a dream. Her heart was now beating faster. He has his life here, sugar. She couldn’t breath. There’s no place for you within it. The air wasn’t passing through her lungs. It has been too fast, too intense. Her heart was racing. Get out of here, Luna. The voice purred.
Luna was feeling her heartbeats inside her brain like a painful buzz and suddenly everything was spinning around her. Run, Luna, her voice said. She tried hard to concentrate on breathing, but it was too painful. Don’t make this harder. Her hands were shaking. Just get the fuck out of here, Luna! Her voice demanded.
Luna gasped forcing the air through her lungs.
RUN! Her voice cried out.
When Vin opened his mouth to speak, Luna lifted her hands and pushed him with such force that he fell on the floor. Vin’s eyes opened wide, puzzled. Luna turned on her heels and ran to the house.
In two seconds, Vin got to his feet and ran to catch her. At that very moment he was completely sure that he wasn’t going to see her again; he was going to lose her forever. Vin felt his desperation growing inside and he called her.
“Luna!” He cried as he continued running. “Luna, Wait!” He cried again.
Luna ran, crying like there was no tomorrow. She grabbed her head with both hands and pressed them against her ears to not hear him calling her.
Vin cursed himself silently and ran faster. “LUNA!” He shouted.
She turned her head for a few seconds and then continued running, crossing the kitchen, almost stumbling over Roman on her way out.
Vin saw how she was running away from him and he couldn’t do anything to stop her, just try to run faster than her.
RUN, LUNA, RUN! The voice inside of her head shouted.
Luna couldn’t hear anything apart from her own voice screaming inside her brain. She couldn’t breath. She couldn’t think. Her heart was racing faster than ever before. Luna opened the door of the house and ran to the car.
LET’S GET OUT OF HERE, LUNA! The voice shouted painfully. Luna climbed in the car.
“Let’s get out of here. NOW!” She cried out.
The driver closed the door and started the car as fast as he could. While the car was turning around to leave the parking area, Luna saw Vin jumping down the stairs all at once.
She saw how his face showed the emptiness she was leaving behind. At that exact moment their eyes locked one last time. What she saw broke her heart.
Luna shut her eyes tightly and bent her head. She was breathless and her body was screaming in pain.
As the car reached the entrance, Vin felt all his emotions overwhelming him at once. The rage, the sadness, the emptiness, the passion, the loss, the desire, the pain and the frustration rushing through him at once, tearing apart his soul and breaking his heart.
Vin’s heart stopped dead and he let all those feelings and emotions out from deep inside of his core.
“LUNAAAA!” Vin screamed out of the top of his lungs and collapsed onto the floor on his knees. Shaking as he covered his face with his hands. His soul ripped apart.
Luna heard him screaming her name. Do not look back! The voice demanded. The pain that emanated from Vin’s soul coursed through her body like a hundred shivs had stabbed her soul, tearing it into a thousand pieces, devastating all her emotions in their path.
Her dreams. Her hopes. Her wishes. Her feelings. Luna felt an invisible hand grabbed her heart, ripping it from her chest just to throw it onto the floor with rage, mashing it with fury until it tuned into millions of small pieces.
The pain was so unbearable that in a last attempt to keep her sanity, Luna dug her nails in her skin, at heart level, so deep and with such force and rage that blood was wetting her turquoise silk blouse. A small whimper escaped her lips as Luna closed her eyes.
You have done the right thing, Luna. The voice said. You’ll get over it, sugar. It sounded gently. You always did, honey. Now it sounded faintly. You’re tough, Luna. The voice added almost in a whisper.
Luna opened her eyes and looked down at her right hand. A heavy sigh left her lips when she saw her empty ring finger where a few minutes before, the star had been shining.
Now take a deep breath and relax, my love. The voice whispered, soothing her. The worst part has passed, sugar. Luna closed her eyes.
She wasn’t thinking at all. She didn’t want anything; she didn’t need anything; she didn’t expect anything; she didn’t miss anything; she didn’t love anything.
Silent tears rolled down unrestrained once again along her cheeks. The only thing she felt was a deep painful emptiness. Luna was empty.
——–
Vin took a seat at the terrace next to the kitchen with his eyes fixed on a spot only he could see. Roman was lying uneasy at his feet.
Vin shook his head slightly as he looked down at his hands, while he was playing with the ring between his fingers.
Immediately, the star came to view, shining, trapped inside of the black stone. Vin fixed his gaze on it, narrowing his eyes.
“Black Star. The legend says: the one who carries it, will be able to find the path to her heart.” Vin whispered as he absently took a gulp of JD.
After a moment he lifted his head, fixing his gaze on that very same spot only he could see, still playing with the ring in one hand and the glass of JD in the other.
Night fell upon him.

Luna opened the door of her house and slowly entered. The taxi driver left her luggage in the hall and turned around on his heels, closing the door.
Luna headed towards her bedroom; it seemed as if her feet were floating. She was walking as if guided by an invisible hand, pushing her back gently. She entered her bedroom and closed the door behind her.
After that, Luna picked up the phone and left a message at her office saying that she was really tired and that she’d be there the following day. Then Luna hung the phone up, disconnecting it.
She lay back onto the bed and rolled to one side, grabbing her pillow. Luna sighed hard and closed her eyes.
