• Peter Jackson Announces THE HOBBIT World Premiere in New Zealand on November 28:

A handful of international territories will get to see The Hobbit on December 12-13, followed by the December 14 release here in the U.S.  Director Peter Jackson announced that the world premiere will be hosted at the Embassy Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand a couple weeks earlier on November 28.  Jackson remarked

• R.I.P. Ray Bradbury, Author of Fahrenheit 451 and The Martian Chronicles – Ray Bradbury — author of The Martian Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and many more literary classics — died this morning in Los Angeles, at the age of 91.
