Interview With An Assassin 1

by evilgrin on 08 Feb 2006, 16:55

Author: Evilgrin

Title: INTERVIEW WITH AN ASSASSIN

Rating: NC 17 sex/seduction, consensual, hetero, and F/F, violence

Fandom: Pitch Black / ::ODD COUPLE::

Pairing: Riddick/Ava Black(OFC) + Janette Harding(OFC)

Disclaimer: Riddick is a character from PB, and so belongs to someone else. Ava, well, she’s a whole other story. She’s mine. All mine. Janette is a plaything for this story, and is also mine. John Stark and Angela Furgale are based loosely on a highly romanticized version of the real life American spree killer/s Charles Starkweather and his lover Caril Ann Fugate. If you’ve ever seen the movies True Romance, Natural Born Killers, or the film Starkweather, then you know where this is going. I, of course, changed a considerable amount about the couple, but I would like to acknowledge where the characters come from. As they are based on a real set of circumstances, I would like to add further that this is not an attempt to glorify REAL murders, or lessen the horror of what those real families faced. I make no money from this story, and it’s written for my enjoyment.

Summary: a sequel to odd couple. Valentines Day special

Notes: Almost completely from the POV of Ava Black

More notes:
a special thank you to njrd, who gave me an idea for a story about an interview

Neapolitan 5

::FIVE::

It’s unnerving when she looks at me like that. Like she’s looking right into my soul. Never been able to look away when she does it either. Not that I didn’t try, in the beginning. Never wanted her getting a real good look at me. Figured she might see something she didn’t like. Always waited to make a woman, or a man, for that matter, drop their eyes. She never does. Her hands on either side of my face, thumbs just at the edge of my eyebrows. A little pressure. Making me look at her.

::FOUR::

Watching her is hell. Thinking about her is worse. I’ve been doing both for hours. I never was much for waiting, when I didn’t have to. I want this over. For a lot of reasons.

Neapolitan 3

::THREE::

I never realized just how much control Ava had over a man until now. Probably something all women do. But Ava does it very deliberately. Plays a role, the clothes she bought for this job just a costume, another mask. Takes her time getting to the table, talking to other customers first, walking by the target’s table a couple of times, knowing full well the effect she’s having.

She’s right. If I had seen what she bought for this job, I never would have let her outside in it. Ava is MINE. Everything in me wants to take her six ways from sunday over this table right now, and never mind the applause. If it was only mercs we were hunting I’d say it was their lucky day, the job is the furthest thing from my mind.

Title: NEAPOLITAN

Pairing: Riddick/Ava Black

Fandom: PB

Rating: big surprise, an NC17 story, for sex, and violence,warning for blood play

Disclaimer:shamelessly pirated Riddick, Ava, well, she’s mine, alllll mine, right down to her dark little heart, the song Neapolitan is by Canadian band Sonic Bloom, and I hope they don’t sue my ass off, but I loved it from the first moment I heard it. Hope that’s enough sucking up, because I’m not really any good at it.

summary: more tales of our demented unlikely couple, the strangest damned love story you’ll ever read…..

note:As with other Riddick/Ava pairings, for conversations/interactions between Riddick and Ava, italics are Riddick conversations/thoughts.

When the waitress walked by she must have
Caught his eye and at that moment he was mine
A little slight of hand
And I had poisoned his bowl of neopolitan
What else can I say, man
Enjoy your ice cream
Murder is such an ugly word
Use another if you so prefer
Me, I like to call it art
Art is its own reward

Granger’s Run 13

::THIRTEEN::

“Ava…”

My back nestled into your chest, your hands on my hips. We sat like this once before, while you had me land. I was a little more frightened then. To be honest, I was terrified. I’m still a little afraid, but I’m working on it. You had me pilot out of the docking bay of the Midorian. I don’t feel safe enough doing it myself yet. A course set, a quiet route.

::TWELVE::

I’ve seen a lot of things today. Things that made me question everything I’ve ever done. How I’ve looked at everything. Maybe that’s just how it is on the day you die. Maybe it’s just me, I’ve gone soft.

Granger’s Run 11

::ELEVEN::

Vaughn is halfway down the hallway already, barely even looking at the broken heap of Davis, his neck broken, as Riddick and his girl slip into the service tunnels. It’s about a quarter mile, in the dim half light of those tunnels, before they break out into the landing, and, most likely, their ship. If they make it out safely, Vaughn will kill both Petrie and me. Hell, he might kill us anyway, if he gets the chance. It’s just a matter of who kills who first, as we enter the gloom of the tunnels.

::TEN::

I have always killed alone. It comes with the job, I suppose. An assassin is solitary. Even with you, we have never killed while standing so close. With the one exception being the garotting of the guard at the McDermott compound. I was not myself.
